"We were pleasantly surprised by this historic gem in the small town of Florence, SC. The best part was the in-hotel restaurant called “Victors.” The waiter was so warm and helpful in recommending food and drinks for the whole family. It enhanced our experience greatly!"

"Looks like the owners are doing a lot of work on the property however, cleanliness is doable but not done. Our room was supposed to have 2 beds in it but the first room we got looked like someone was still in it. Unmade bed, clothes on chair and a huge fan in the middle of the room. Second room, single bed and ac wasn’t producing and it stunk. I had to show the clerk that I paid for a room with 2 beds and he finally said they didn’t have one available. "The property looked really nice from the outside, I was actually shocked for a Motel 6. I don't mind older places as long as they're clean. However, I saw two german roaches in our room...... That is not cool. I pray I don't have any hitchhikers........"

"No door lock, toddlers feet were black bc the room was dirty, AC unit didn’t work, manger tried to take my key card after concerns and give my room away with the items still in the room. Phone in room didn’t work, the fumes of paint were nauseating "

"The hotel is horrible. There are a lot of people doing drugs in the back area and a lot of homeless people. People were knocking on our door in the middle of the night. I don't recommend it."

"The manager was very helpful! They have a grill outside off the parking lot with a bunch of utensils for you to use right there. I didn’t use it so check to see if you need charcoal and fluid. The coffee maker in the room works well. Bring your own filters, coffee and cream. There’s a Walmart up the road, a 10 minute drive for everything you need. The AC was set at 70 degrees when I got into the room, nice and cool. This is a great value hotel with some wear but the location really worked for...
