"On entering the hotel the staff were really helpful and friendly the lobby was nice and clean , my room was very nice clean and spacious, bed really comfortable had a great nights sleep, air con really helped as it was very hot . Breakfast was delicious and varied and there were plenty of nice friendly staff to help"

"Check in was quick and efficient. Being able to park for no additional charge was great. Great location for all the main parts of Peterborough. Room was exceptionally silent the whole day and night. A few doors in the morning but that's to be expected. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was lovely and clean. Nets at the window and black out curtains. Very much an upgrade on the usual Travelodge I normally stay at due to cleanliness and staff. Room was spacious enough"

"It was an old characterful building with many original features. It was evident from the certificates and photos around the place that it had been a hotel & restaurant of note with award winning credentials. It isn’t a shiny glitzy hotel but equally the decor was quite tired and patched up in places. "Far to warm. No air con in rooms just a plug in fan to circulate the warm air. Can open window a few inches but does nothing to cool the temperature. Someone's toe nail left on floor. Hair dryer didn't work. Breakfast was ok. Glad to leave to get air con in car. Won't be booking this place if it's warm again!!!!! Did ask staff not really interested."
