"Room was nice. Staff was excellent. It was the first room from the reception desk making it louder than normal and the doors were very very loud when clasping shut. Every time our “neighbors” went in or out, we were awakened. Breakfast was hearty but no pastries were available."

"Parking was easy, there was no one at the front desk when I got there and had to wait about 10 mins. When I got into the room to go to bed there was a big stink bug in my bed by my pillow. That freaked me out a bit. Towels are so tiny and thin they could barely dry anything"

"The only complaint I have is the elevator was stupid slow. And I couldn't get the tub to hold water. But it was a great stay otherwise."

"Excellent hotel stay"

"I will start with the positive. We got massages and the spa was nice. The massages were good. The steakhouse was wonderful and the manager there, the waitress and the staff throughout Oglebay were really good. Now for the not so good: We were there for our 40th anniversary, which they had in their system, but we were given a room in one of the lodge wings that only had a view of the wall belonging to the next building of rooms. Most of the rooms in our section had balconies you could go out on...

"Staff is friendly. Breakfast is a good perk. It is half the price of the hotel a few blocks away. However, the rooms are getting dated, they lack useful furniture for the space allotted, and currently the pool and fitness rooms are closed. I’d prefer they handled the rooms before fitness (never used) and pool (low priority). I will stay there again, though, for the overall value and cost."
