"If you are lanning to stay more than one day, PLEASE TAKE YOUR SHOWER GEL. Room are not cleaned daily. Continental Breakfast was OK. Weather became colder in evening & at night, there is no heating. When I requested, she can ot start central heating as these are summer months. There is no portable heater. Be careful, befora you book this palce"

If a client is using derogatory foul audible language aimed at women in the bar area they should be asked to stop by the manager/bar tender - it’s not pleasant to be subjected to this if you’re sitting quietly trying to enjoy your own drink . "Beautiful and comfortable room and bathroom. Very well equipped and exceptional provisions. Excellent breakfast. Great evening meal. Limited motorbike parking (lethal gravel) but found a spot on entrance paths."

"Food poisoning the first night, rooms hotter than the sun, zero water pressure in the bathrooms. Constantly chasing staff for the most simple things. They ran out of ice. No fans for the rooms. No one collecting glasses or emptying an ash tray. Asked for a coffee in the morning and waited 15 minutes.. got up to ask where it was "oh i couldn't find you" yeah because you were in the kitchen flirting with the chef.. Could be such a wonderful place, if the staff weren't recreating Fawlty Towers"

"Lovely setting, great welcome, food superb, staff friendly and helpful We had the suite (kingfisher) which was an excellent room except for a radiator being stuck on in the bathroom. The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! "This is a single room detached building beside the host’s house and it is absolutely delightful. The bed is comfy, the bathroom has lots of big fluffy towels, there is coffee and tea in the room. The weather was warm while we were there but there is cross ventilation and a fan, and we were able to enjoy breakfast outside in the beautiful garden. I would highly recommend this for a couple wanting a quiet place to stay that is convenient to explore the Salisbury area."
