"Reception welcome was great. Evening meal was absolutely delicious (seared monk fish medallions and garlic butter). Room was clean a organised, hot drink facility, full range of clean needing and towels. Easy check out and free parking. Staff were efficient and welcoming. One smallish moan, the shower temperature was intermittent, cool then hot then cool again continually. Took a bit of adjusting to get an acceptable hot AND cool. Great location for business reasons. I will book again."

"Great variety at breakfast. Choice of continental buffet, including overnight oats. Then, as part of the B&B deal, could also get a hot breakfast as well. Bar cosy, with a lovely open fire. Seems a popular local venue for functions. Staff cheerful and helpful despite the hotel being full and functions on. Note, no lift so be prepared to carry bags up stairs.
