"loved this place! however, the airplanes are loud and they do fly frequently - from about 0500 till about 2300."

"This very dated hotel is central so that makes it quite good. The rooms are fine and there are things to do. The food is average and flavourless. The staff seem always unhappy and overall I would say it is fine because of location but quite expensive given how dated and how I felt the service was. They had said I would stay in my room for 2 nights given a tour group I was joining night 2 - yet they yelled at me at the front desk and make me move in a rushed format when I went to confirm. I would not stay here again."

"I can’t rave enough about this place! It was the most luxurious vacation I’ve ever been on. From the views to the food, not to mention the absolutely amazing staff (shoutout to Claudia, you absolute angel) you will not be disappointed. In fact, you’re missing out if you don’t choose Albatroz! "

"Beautiful resort. Great food. Lots of options on things to do. Cleaning Staff forgot to stock our fridge with drinks and water at times. Had trouble the last few days getting reservations at restaurants due to there only being 2 open each night. Would recommend having someone available to cart people to their suites day and night as quite a hike uphill to a lot of suites. The restaurant Voce was wonderful for lunch. Stunning views and easy access to a wide variety of activities. The bar had live music and silent discos, which was all fun. We’d come back again for sure."

"We arrived around 22.30 as our flight was delayed & security took over an hour to get through. We took the wrong road and ended up in steep narrow lanes. Once we arrived we were so happy with our room. Very clean and had everything we needed. A great nights sleep & a good breakfast. It’s a shame we couldn’t stay longer as we had booked a property in Ponte do Sol. A great hotel. Thank you "

"Great value and location for the price. A bit rustic and could use some renovation for the closets and paint for the hallway walls, but overall extremely clean and pleasant. Breakfast was very good."

"Unfortunately I would say our experience wasn’t great. The balcony door was broken and when asked to have our room switched she told us not to worry it’s safe. Being that we were on a girls trip. We didn’t feel safe at all and the balcony was on the first floor. So people can easily just walk right it. That ruined the trip it self. The space it self was clean and huge. Very roomie but that situation didn’t allow us to sleep and we had put chairs and table by the door not that would have much but to prevent someone from coming in. Unfortunately I was not impressed that they didn’t switch rooms for us as that would have made the experience better but we couldn’t get any sleep. "
