"I loved this hotel! It’s in a beautiful part of uptown Chicago (Andersonville- an adorable gayborhood), near lots of cute shops, thrift stores, pubs, and bakeries. It sits right across the street from a beautiful cemetery, filled with gorgeous old trees. The lobby is charming and welcoming, as is the rooftop deck, where you can see the Chicago skyline in the distance. The rooms are nicely decorated-tasteful, not overly adorned. "This is a pretty good hotel out of the city center. It is close to the train station (red line) that takes you downtown. The whole staff is very pleasant. Breakfast is very good too, with friendly kitchen staff (Angel and Amanda)."

Once you have booked the non refundable room they tell you a $300 cash wire transfer is to be made for a security deposit with your state issued ID. I called because this is nowhere stated and was immediately hung up on. Expedia “customer service” made several attempts to contact the property to which there was never an answer. "Clean room, Staff was great, very helpful. No frills motel. Close to bus stops so easy to get to the L. Free parking which was great! Could have had a couple more channels on tv (only 3). And maybe a small selection of something besides cereal for breakfast. But we would stay there again!!"

"Well located hotel. Beautiful rooms. Nice shower soaps and creams. However, if you are noise sensitive, don’t stay there. You will hear constant door slamming from the cleaning staff and neighbouring guests. Unintentional but loud. Changed rooms but it was the same in the new room. Also, hotel gives you a ‘$10 off drinks per day’ coupon but be careful. At checkout I was told there are no charges only to find out I was charged for one of the drinks once I got back to my home country. Had to call...
