"Good size room with a comfortable queen bed. Didn't need the AC because you can open the window and let that cool Santa Cruz air in."

"Our second stay at this hotel. It’s kind of our goto hotel now when visiting Santa Cruz. The staff is great, parking is great, and location is great. It’s within walking distance to food and other necessities. There is a great pizza place across the street, 711, and an ice cream place. I only wish it had a pool. Comes with a nice simple breakfast that gets your day started."

"The place is clean, beds comfortable (though too soft for me.) don’t pay for a balcony, it just overlooks the parking lot. The young Indian couple running the Inn are very nice."

Check in was very quick & parking lot and was large enough that I was never worried if there would be enough spots left-unlike our stays @ other hotels in area."

"The television did not work properly. There was no phone connection. It was a dead phone. There is no security for the first floor window to be allowed to be open. The screen was broken. The floor of the room had a lot of dirt and sand on it The best thing was the shower. I was pleasantly surprised with great pressure and lots of hot water that was a plus. The walls are pretty thin because I can hear the person next to me snoring like he was in my bed pretty bad"

"We loved that they offered a pool, hot tub and breakfast and all at a good location. The beds were comfortable but ours was quite squeaky. The pool was surprisingly warm and hot tub small but relaxing. Some poolside towels would have been nice instead of asking for the minimum but staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast included waffles, potatoes, and sausage as well as cereal and pastries, but eggs would've been a great addition. Overall a good place to stay while visiting the beach."

"Great location and good for family. They had beach volleyball balls for the kids to check out to play. The pool looked cleaned but some construction was on site. We enjoyed our stay. The view was so nice and relaxing. Wished we stayed longer than two days."

"Staff was super helpful and welcoming especially Andre and Derek who worked valet. Breakfast was great. Rooms were clean and spacious. Pool was pretty busy but to be expected in the summer."

"Very nice staff I will say but I can’t lie whatever you paid for the room (especially during peak season) it should probably be less. The room was pretty tore up and the tv didn’t even have a remote. The shower drain cover was falling off and a lot of the furniture was ripped. The floors felt kinda greasy and grimy and the towels were super thin. But at least the sheets were clean, bed was comfy, easy parking, & they don’t price gouge as much as some of these other spots. "The exterior of the hotel is a bit run down. That being said, the room was updated and beautiful. The pool had a lot of differed maintenance. The staff was wonderful and the morning coffee and pastries were a nice touch."

"The balcony was a plus, but the room was dirty. They type you aren’t sure you want to put your head on the pillow. The hallways smelled like pet urine throughout the hotel. It seems a lot of homeless people use this hotel regularly and the neighborhood is not great, although it does have a central location and the pool looked like it was fun for families.
