"Interesting place, the staff were great and so was breakfast , the room we stayed in was a little tired , I appreciate its an old building but especially the bathroom sink in our room , which needs replacing or re-enamelling , it looked dirty even though it wasn't. We only styed the one night , there was a good brew pub at the bottom of the road on the whole a good stay"

"Great location, great people. Very convenient!"

"Loved the location, decor, and cleanliness. Friendly and helpful staff. Went above and beyond by offering us a breakfast item since we’d be leaving early morning for another hike before breakfast start time. The only blip was operating the TV. "Breakfast was delicious and homemade! Hot tub was large, clean, and the area was very quiet! Rooms and Inn are on the older side, but have a lot of charm. My husband and I got a room with a porch and some rockers. Which was lovely! If you like a place that is warm, a touch outdated, and charming. This is the place for you! We would definitely go back :)"

"Excellent facility, owners were awesome and very helpful. Breakfast was to die for."

"I was traveling to the area for a wedding at a local resort and spent two great nights at the Colonel Spencer Inn. Hosts Tracy and Jim are kind and respectful and offered to assist with my luggage. I slept very well in the comfortable bed. Even though the weather was less than ideal, it is in a beautiful setting and I want to stay there again. I had two delicious and filling breakfasts and I appreciated the snacks, coffee and tea bar, and beverage fridge filled with water bottles."

"Cozy and friendly."
