Amazing staff. Great property. We were there on a Monday so unfortunately the restaurant was closed. The pool is very nice, but the hot tub is a bit dated.

Unfortunately our room became infested with gnats while we were at dinner in the Pub. The staff tried to kill them by spraying our room but the spray residue was overwhelming and we were concerned about what we were breathing while we slept. It seems to be a yearly occurrence…

We really enjoyed our time there. Delicious dinner and drinks in the pub. My favorite was the trail ride! The guides were wonderful and the horses are so well trained. The staff at the front desk were very pleasant, checking in and out was a breeze. My only suggestion would be that they talk up the amenities and make sure guests know what’s available to them at the inn and where it is.

The staff was great. The grounds were beautiful! The pub was fun! Everything about the Inn has a “homy”, comfortable feeling. Will be definitely be back!!

Extremely comfortable bed, air conditioner kept the room comfortable. WiFi worked well. Took a little bit getting used to with no tv. The continental breakfast was nice with bagels, muffins, cereals, juices and coffee.

We had a nice two day stay at the Inn. We had a beautiful king room on the second floor. The bathroom was small but clean and functional . We had dinner both nights at the restaurant/bar. The food and drinks were delicious. The first night we had live entertainment with the open mic night. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The weekday breakfast was a little sparse, but did the trick. The weekend breakfast menu offered a few more hot options. We have stayed at The Franconia Inn many times, and we will be back again!

The Franconia Inn was exactly what we were looking for on our first visit to New Hampshire's White Mountains. The quaint yet upscale atmosphere of this beautiful old farmhouse was a delight. Approaching from the road, you're greeted by a grand stone porch—rugged, sturdy, and elegant. The large front door opens into a welcoming foyer and check-in area, where a friendly clerk handed us our keys and sent us on our way. Beautiful dining rooms to the left and inviting sitting rooms to the right, complete with a fire burning in the magnificent stone fireplace, made us feel at home before we even reached our room. Our bedroom was cozy, with the lived-in charm of an old inn, yet clean and well-kept. Garnet Hill linens throughout—the bedding, pillows, and towels—were a lovely touch. Fun fact: Garnet Hill has an outlet store right in Franconia, next to their headquarters! Electrical outlets were inconveniently located, but a provided power strip kept our laptops connected to customers. Otherwise, the Inn was a joy to come home to each evening. Parking across the street was manageable, even in the rain, and the road was quiet. The early morning countryside was so peaceful - fog settling over the glider field across the street and the quiet sounds of horses in the neighboring barn, waiting to take riders out for a leisurely stroll. If you're looking for comfortable nostalgia, you won't be disappointed by the Franconia Inn!

The common rooms were very nice... a library, a fireplace to read in front of, dining room with all day access to coffee and hot chocolate. Nice hot tub. XC skiing right next door. And a pub with fantastic food.
