"We had a great two night stay at the Preston South Holiday Inn. Upon arrival in the vast reception area, we were quickly checked in by the pleasant male receptionist. We had a very large room with a comfy bed, and a great bathroom with a big walk-in shower and Dove toiletries. Breakfast was buffet service, with a chance to make your own bap. We had two evening meals there, which couldn't be faulted. We also sat out in the garden area with drinks on a lovely day. Highly recommended."

"On arrival we were allocated a room 526 on fifth floor however on checking room felt it was rather tired also some water ingress on windowsill where rain water had blown through. On request we changed room and allocated room 431 on floor below. Upon entering room there was a very strong smell of bleach from bathroom and similarly to last bedroom fixtures and fittings look tired and worn. Obviously attention needed to bring rooms up to acceptable standard. Worst of all we noticed remnants of...

"Very good, clean and tidy accommodation. No air con, but openable windows or balcony doors. Big bed with Medium density mattress, no fridge in room. Overall very happy with room. Parking on premises if you pay daily, but free parking over the road after 6pm and free 2 hrs between 8 and 6pm. Never seen a parking attendant or warden in 4 days there. Very well located in lovely area. Swimming pool and gym over the road, cinema is excellent and coastal walk in both directions to Blackpool or to...

"The property was very nice with it being linked with the golf course. Sitting on the patio in an evening was very nice. Breakfast was excellent. Only minor gripe was the price of a bottle of wine"

"Our sleep was affected due to a group of other guests making noise during the night. Also the mattress on our bed was really hard so not very comfortable. Other than these issues the hotel is good for a short stop, staff are friendly, it’s next to motorway services so you can get food from outlets."

"Location of property worked well for purpose. Staff were good. Rooms very warm, unlike the shower, stayed 3 nights, only on one occasion was the water hot, guessing the staff knew of this, when we mentioned at check out. Greene King pub next door, ok for a pint and pub food. Would recommend "Ye Olde Hob Inn" for a drink, great atmosphere and even better hosts."
