We wanted to stay at The Vincent Hotel for a while so chose to spend the night for our anniversary. We had a warm welcome from reception. Our room was lovely, clean and quite modern. We were at the front of the hotel overlooking Lord Street. Not long after checking in we had a knock on the door and were given 2 glasses of fizz for our anniversary which was nice. In the evening we ate in the hotel restaurant. As a guest we had a 15% discount. The service was great and the food was tasty. We popped to the bar for a drink before heading back to our room. The bed was comfortable. The WiFi signal was a bit hit and miss.
The shower was powerful but it was over a small bath with high sides that you need to climb over. There is a grab rail and step but you need to be careful.
There was a great selection of fresh food at breakfast. You can choose a full English if you want. There was also cereal, breads, pastries and fruits or you can choose items from the breakfast menu.
We parked in an NCP car park at Southport Promenade which was about a 4 minute walk away. It was £4.95 for 24 hours when reserved on their app.
We would definitely love to stay at The Vincent Hotel again.
