The pool is excellent, with a beautiful view of the harbor. The location is perfect, water views while being a short walk to Charleston's best restaurants and shopping. After driving nearly 300 miles, that’s not exactly a warm welcome."

"The service was outstanding, the butler service is impeccable and the complementary breakfast service was amazing. The rooms are very well equipped and there are free snacks etc.
Regarding the amenities I did not feel though that this was a five start hotel. Outside of the small entry lobby/ bar there is no space to use. The gym can be utilized in a hotel around the corner, but it’s small. We were expecting some rooftop terrace or special experience for a five star. For a downtown city hotel...

"First time staying at this Best Western and was very happy from the start. The staff was excellent, very polite, and always willing to help. This even includes the cleaning staff. Alway smiling and courteous.. The morning breakfast was always good, and I really enjoyed the 24 hour coffee.
My only complaint is about the maintenance of the room. There was a burned out light bulb above the bathroom sink. Easy enough to replace but it never was. The toilet also had trouble flushing. Staff...

"OMGosh!!! What a great surprise this place was. Right in the center of the action and a short drive to Patriots Point, the Old Village in Mount Pleasant and close enough for an affordable Uber to Charleston. So many restaurants were within walking distance and we could hear all the live music while we were swimming in the pool. This was a great place for our family (kids 10 and 13) because the area was full of college kids and young adults (who were all very respectful) but the hotel itself...
