"Nice place but starting to get a bit tired looking in places"

"Friendly staff. Excellent food offering. Good location. A shame about my shower control falling apart and an extractor unit that looked as though it had seen better days. In the heat, the air conditioning in the room was excellent and very welcome. It would have been nice if it had operated throughout the hotel. I will be happy to stay there again"

"Food poisoning the first night, rooms hotter than the sun, zero water pressure in the bathrooms. Constantly chasing staff for the most simple things. They ran out of ice. No fans for the rooms. No one collecting glasses or emptying an ash tray. Asked for a coffee in the morning and waited 15 minutes.. got up to ask where it was "oh i couldn't find you" yeah because you were in the kitchen flirting with the chef.. Could be such a wonderful place, if the staff weren't recreating Fawlty Towers"

"Clean room. Helpful staff. A lot of road noise in rooms at the front but peaceful with lovely views for rooms at the back of the hotel. Good buffet breakfast with gluten free options on request."

"I arrived with my 8 year old for a 2 night stay during a very hot heatwave. Upon checking in I proceeded to attempt to use the little elevator which got stuck between floors with me inside so I went back down and carried my heavy suitcase up the stairs. "It was a small room and no air conditioner, but unfortunately the breakfast wasn’t very good! Very few things, The croissants were born, not to many varieties!"

"Lovely setting, great welcome, food superb, staff friendly and helpful We had the suite (kingfisher) which was an excellent room except for a radiator being stuck on in the bathroom. The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! "Pros: bus stop nearby, easy to get to many tourist attractions even if located a little away from city center, grocery store around the corner, clean comfortable bed, fan provided. Short stay ok.
