"Pamplona was the surprise of our visit to the north of Spain. El Gran Hotel La Perla was without a doubt the very best choice when visiting this beautiful city. The staff was magnificent, the room fantastic, the bathroom was large and the location was PERFECT! Right in Plaza del Castillo where the action happens and the bulls pass by in la Corrida de Toros. Loved the Room Key as it felt like staying at a Castle. Highly recommended."

"Rooms were lovely, clean and new with loads of cupboards and draws. Microwave, fidge and hob included. Everything we needed. Comfy bed. Nice helpful staff. Pool is on the top floor outside and not heated in winter so only for the brave!"

"Excellent logement, beau et pratique. Propre, idéalement situé dans le vieux centre. Quartier tranquille mais à proximité des commerces et des restaurants. Et possible de visiter la Vieille ville et tous les lieux d intérêt à pied. On peut même aller à pied à la gare de bus. Des lignes de bus nombreuses à proximité. Excellent rapport qualité prix. Je recommande vivement. Séjour en famille avec trois enfants ... Idéal, seul ou accompagné."

"The staff were helpful. I slept great in the hotel before the walk the next day. I had been awake for over 24 hours. The bed was so comfortable. They gave us a map of the city so that we can get our El Camino de Santiago passport for our walk. Thank you."

"Per essere un ostello di base, siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti. La camera privata è esattamente quello che ti aspetteresti da un hotel, ad un piano separato dalle camere d'ostello. La sala comune offre macchinetta del caffè gratis e al mattino qualcosa da sgranocchiare. Nota super positiva all'host che appena arrivati ci ha accolto e in 2 minuti ci ha dato tutte le informazioni importanti senza farci perdere tempo, compreso consigli su dove eventualmente cenare. Consigliato!"

"Staff was very courteous and especially the cook in the breakfast area. She made great scrambled eggs! Receptionists were professional & greeted all guests daily. Plenty of parking in front of the hotel on premises. Across the street was a Mercadona and the opposite direction was an Eroski if one needs groceries. The roundabout nearby made it easy to travel to Pamplona, Roncesvalles & San Sebastián. We were in Room 205 & there was a strong smell of cleaning products that lingered for...
