"A small but well appointed twin room. Quiet and could not hear other people, so this was good. Tasty pub grub and a decent choice for breakfast. Just what we needed"

"The hotel has fabulous Christmas decorations that make it feel even cosier and more inviting. The staff were really friendly, professional & welcoming. The room was a good size and clean and well presented, as was the bathroom. The bar area was relaxed and had a nice atmosphere. Only one issue during the visit. The breakfast sandwiches were in stotties that seemed a bit stale. We didn’t feed this back at the time, which I now realise was unfair. Apologies."

"All the staff were very friendly and helpful, since I’m disabled. They helped me up and down the stairs and Owen put our luggage in our rental car. Hannah and Beth were also wonderful, with other help. "

"Not great for EV drivers as when you take the car to charge, you cannot return to the hotel to park. And the cleanliness in the bathroom prevented me from bathing my 3 year old."

"Excelent breakfast! Cosy facilities and building/rooms well kept and Nice! Area around not so good for dining or visiting mainly in cold weather "

"Check-in was quick and easy as someone was at the desk but there were times I would have liked to ask a question of a staff member but there was no one around. I would also like to have had a suitcase stand rather than have it opened on the floor. I don't like to us the bed as a suitcase stand as the suitcase is not particularly clean."
