"The place was beautiful design. Thats what I want in hotels. The staff were lovely. Amaan, Viraj and Nethmi were wonderful. This place is an oasis off the busy city street down to the Fort. If you want to stay away from the touristy Fort area on the coast, with a private beach, this place is for you. The only feedback I have for them is be clear about restaurant times. It said on menu in room 6p. I went down 6.15 and was told my meal would take 1 to 1.5 hours. This won't work for families with...

"Staff were so lovely and helpful!! Went out of their way to assist and help with transport also. We loved the breakfast - plenty of food. Property was kept very clean and tidy throughout. Would definitely stay again "

"Yara Galle Fort is a lovely boutique hotel in a good position for walking around the town. The bed was comfortable and it was lovely to have a fridge and toiletries provided. The Sri Lankan breakfast was the best we have had here and the staff were very helpful. "

"We had one night in Galle, and were lucky enough to get the ENORMOUS family room - an amazing experience for the entire family. As it was off season (late October), the hotel was quiet and there was some renovation going on, but it was beautiful and peaceful. Would definitely recommend! One thing I have to mention: The bedframe extends beyond the mattress and since it's dark wood, it's impossible to see in the dark - two of us came home with some pretty bad shin scrapes :) "

"Dette hotel er noget helt specielt. Vi havde et værelse på 3 sal med egen terrasse. Vi havde et alle tiders kæmpe tre lige uden foran og om morgenen, da vi skulle spise morgenmad, var aberne meget interesserede. Det var en morgenmad, som var inklusiv i opholdet, men det blev bragt til værelset til aftalt tid og man kunne komme med ønsker om preferencer. Tillige fik vi en mygge skåner. Vi havde brug for transport og stedet havde en mand ansat, der gerne kørte os til adskillige oplevelser og endda...

"Such an incredibly beautiful property, the rooms had such beautiful Dutch old world charm. If you have the budget spurge and get the Admiral Suite. It’s huge!!!!!! I felt like a true queen with it all to myself. I also opted for the full board. As with many other I can confirm the food is outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had a delightful stay. If you’re thinking booking just go ahead and book it. "
