"Highly highly recommend. The hotel is small and intimate in a residential area away from the touristy chaos. I couldn't find the check in instructions so sent a message via expedia and the owner Francesco called me within minutes with instructions. Very soft pillows, great hair dryer, tea, espresso and snacks provided 24/7. Anddd, aside from a cute breakfast pastry buffet, Francesco cooks each guest pre-selected breakfast meals (I got the veggie omelet both mornings), and is present to answer...

It's the best location, overlooking the San Lorenzo Cathedral, a 2-minute walk to the Central Market, and a short walk to the main attractions and the train station. It was not easy to find a room for a family of three in Italy, so I didn't expect to stay in such a spacious room. The library on the second floor was very beautiful.
