"it was a strange place to stay, i didnt find the staff overly friendly, a bit odd in their approach to service in term"

"Everything was wonderful with the exception of no air-conditioning or fans. Of course it was an unusual heat wave, but it would’ve made it a lot more comfortable. A small fridge would’ve been nice as well so we could keep our drinks cool. But the pub was great. breakfast was very nice and we had a wonderful time."

"I must say… I was disappointed. I thought if I paid for a name like ‘Holiday Inn’ it would somehow be of a good standard…how wrong I was! When I saw my room (on the ground floor) the first thing I noticed was that it was not clean. "Place is ok for what it is but what isn’t ok is the noise, people banging on room doors and running off! Get they do a lot of weddings but that should not be affecting the other guests staying there. Just constant noise, drink people and thud thud thud from music. The spa is inaccessible when a wedding is on due to kids!"

"We didn't take up our booking because we were advised by our friends and relatives (one is a member of the local constabulary) who live locally that the hotel is filthy, poorly managed and used more as a hostel for undesirables. We were advised not to stay there, consequently we didn't even see the establishment so cannot confirm whether that is the case."

"Communication from them was fantastic, they let you know everything you need to do to access the property. Room was lovely and clean. Directions to property were very clear (unless you're an idiot like me who doesn't read them properly!) Had one issue in the early hours of the morning as the room next door was being really noisy but I messaged the property and they sorted it out within about 5 mins. Would happily stay here again."

"Can’t fault the room, was clean & v spacious! Breakfast was underwhelming, especially when I paid just short of £200 for the room, barely any hot food! I paid on booking & yet the hotel has tried to take payment 6 times, which is quite worrying!"
