"Great location for northern lights and cozy spacious rooms! Host messaged about room number to check into 2 days ahead. Hot tub and sauna are on the roof of centermost rooms of property. Oddest thing was tea bags with sugar, but its the only place I've ever stayed with no coffee machine? "

"This hotel was located in a quiet but convenient area. Rooms were large and comfortable. Breakfast was decent and included in the price. Check out time seemed a bit early (10AM when breakfast was served through 10AM) but still reasonable. We would definitely stay again!"

"Wir waren zum zweiten Mal in diesem Hotel. Zimmer sind sauber und ausreichend groß. Nur einen Kleiderschrank haben wir auch dieses Mal vermisst. Das Personal ist sehr nett, schön ist auch, dass man die Möglichkeit hat, im Hotel für isländische Verhältnisse zu einem angemessenen Preis sehr lecker zu essen. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden und die Lage ist für Ausflüge sehr gut. Ein Supermarkt ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir kommen gerne wieder. "

"The town was quaint. The hotel was clean and mostly updated. The Geothermal pool was my favorite part. The stay at this hotel could’ve been better if the beds were comfortable. The mattresses were hard and similar to military dorm beds. I’m hoping with the new reservations that was happening while I was there that would be one of the things this hotel would update. The front desk staff was personable and full of knowledge as far as where to explore in the area. "

"Originally we only planned to stay here one night but airline cancellations required us to stay an additional three nights. Staff at the hotel were able to accommodate our needs and actually provided a room upgrade. There is some construction going on that affected parking but everything else was great. Pictures don't do it justice. The complimentary breakfast could be improved by adding a few more selections (eggs, bacon) but I'm sure this is just an American expectation. To be fair, there was...

"A little difficult to find. But room was large and clean. Close to another hotel that had food. Close to airport. Used to stay from cancelled flight. Called to get code to get in and was answered quickly but not sure what I would’ve done if it wasn’t answered. Details were sent but got there before that. "

"This was a meticulously clean, quiet hotel with a great location for arrival and departure days in Iceland. Its also close to the Gianta's cave and a lovely cliff walk, port and place to watch the northern lights on clear dark nights. The bed was incredibly comfortabel as well. We also enjoyed a breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. Both were delicious. "
