"Registration was cursory. Certainly not rude, just “fill in your details and here’s your key.” No offer of assistance for two seniors to carry suitcases up narrow stairs. No further information offered. Room was adequate. Shower is traditional British style - in a very high narrow tub, very dangerous for seniors in my opinion. Notice in room that no outside food allowed, and may result in an additional charge. Overall good value for money, but more of a two star than a three star hotel. "

So neither I or my wife could have a shower that evening or the next morning ( today ) . On check out I reminded the manager of this problem , but no redress or discount was offered ; until I asked for a discount . " I had a very pleasant stay overall. The hotel staff were exceptionally courteous and welcoming, which I greatly appreciated. The only concern was the level of noise during the night, which did impact the quality of rest. Aside from this, my experience was highly positive."

"Stunning property with excellent quality food and rooms. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The only issue was that the room and bed (standard double) were very small and hot. Couldnt kèep the window open thanks to the local boys racing up and down the seafront. We are not particularly big people but i can imagine that a larger couple would find the bed impossible to sleep in!"

"A very warm welcome on arrival and throughout our stay. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Room 14 was very spacious, bright, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was freshly cooked. A good menue to choose from. Fresh coffee, bread and lots of cereal to choose. We came by train which was a 10 minute walk. There is plenty of parking at the back of the property . "
