"A beautiful old property in a quaint location - the staff were excellent, particularly the chap on reception & the waitress who served us at dinner (which was yummy) - nothing was too much trouble for either! Breakfast was great, though they had run out of decaf coffee but fortunately I had some with me for such eventualities, so no problem. "We booked this property because it was very close to a venue we were attending a wedding at, I had booked three rooms and requested one room to be a twin, despite me telephoning twice to check, but when we checked in it was still made up as a double, but it was quickly rectified. "​Absolutely awesome experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ​We had a brilliant stay here. The rooms are compact but brilliantly functional—small, but with absolutely everything you need. Every single aspect of our visit was awesome, from the immaculate, clean rooms to the fantastic, friendly staff. The breakfast and bar facilities were also excellent. Would definitely stay here again!"

"This is a place for when you want to toyally switch off, relax and gave a great nights sleep. Having no TV on the room, meant we went to bed early, heard no a sound all night and came away fully refreshed after one night. There are a couple of nice pubs and restaurants in walking distance and the Thai Orchid is fab."

"Certainly not as nice as the photos make out. We would not stay again and do not recommend it. Poor nights sleep for many reasons. Not a good shower. Smelly bathroom, noisy fridge, very light in room at night due to fire exit light in room ...hard pillows. Also very glad breakfast wasn't included based on what we saw. Overpriced for what it is. "
