The staff were also very friendly and helpful, and we had some great cocktails from the ground floor bar. All that said, I’ll likely stay elsewhere next time because I also noted very dirty walls and surfaces in our room, as well as some dirty crockery, and I didn’t think the room layout was especially well planned. Was unable to upgrade as suggested in email and because it was booked through Expedia we were unable to change room to a river view even though there were rooms available. The outside terrace was lovely but no information about pre booking was sent to me and with the nice weather we as residents were only able to enjoy the outside space for a short while."
