"The hotel is inside the city walls. Upon arrival by car, get instructions from the front desk before you venture beyond the city gates. The hotel is old but very comfortable, clean, and efficient. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking is limited, so confirm a space when reserving. The bonus is you cannot get any more centrally located. I would stay here again, for sure."

"Where to begin? Oh my, we got there a little early just hoping to stash our bags until check in. Instead we were offered an upgraded room ready for check in (for 10 euro) we said sure. Great decision! This was a lovely spot. and the included breakfast in the morning!!! Full on International breakfast choices. Really, you do not need lunch after this. Just go rent your bikes and head for the city walls to ride. We rode 10 miles all over and had so much fun. This stay in Lucca was a highlight of our trip."

The staff are very friendly and helpful and the location is superb for train station (2mins), city wallls (5 mins) and parkrun start line (5 min walk) Lucca is special and well worth a visit. I will certainly be back next next to stay and this lovely little hotel but please don’t forget the 3 mins plug adapter for Italy and not a standard EU plug."
