Room Amenities While the room was clean, we did notice a lack of a few basic essentials that are typically standard: • Waste Management: There were no trash bags provided in the bins, which made keeping the space tidy a bit less convenient. • Toiletries: There was no shower cap included in the bathroom amenities. Facilities & Maintenance The most significant issue occurred during my morning routine. Halfway through my shower, the hot water completely cut out. Dealing with a cold shower in the middle of a New York trip was a major inconvenience and a disappointment for a hotel in this category. Final Verdict If you are looking for a reliable, "no-frills" spot that covers the basics, this hotel is a decent choice. It is an okay stay for a short trip, provided you don't mind calling down to the front desk for those small missing items."

"Such a great experience here. The free breakfast was different daily w/ fresh fruits. I got an excellent workout daily on the Peleton and with other great equipment in the gym. And oh my goodness, the food at The House Bar was excellent, as were the cocktails and delightful bartender. My room was clean, comfortable and refreshed daily. I will definitely be back."

"My room had bed bugs. I was switched to a different one and was told I’d be refunded for part or all of my stay and never heard back. The wifi was also really spotty from my room and wasn’t reliable at all. Seriously makes you question the amenity fee. Cannot recommend at all. "

"I have stayed in several ACE hotels, in Seattle, Portland and Palm Springs and I never really got the millennial hype. The common areas are usually great but the rooms in those places weren’t great. When friends recommended the ACE in Brooklyn I was skeptical but the photos and location seemed great. I was very pleasantly surprised! I stayed with my husband and kid and the medium room was a great size (especially for NYC!). The room was clean and comfortable with a little sofa, an awesome window and nice bathroom. The bed was also comfortable. The area is super walkable downtown Brooklyn near subway stops and it’s easy to navigate. The common areas are beautiful as well and we loved the Black Seed Bagel attached for breakfast. The hotel staff was really kind and helpful and I will definitely stay here again!"

"The hotel is centrally located. Lots of shops, restaurants and vendors! The room was clean but the view was not. We had a view of another building and its residents as well as a dog park. The dogs were cute but the barking was a bit annoying. The television kept blinking and the bathroom sink leaked for 3 of the five days. The tv was fixed immediately but the sink was a problem. The housekeeper was excellent! Not sure if I would stay there again."
