"The caretaker Paul didnt know we were coming and initially was more interested in his amazon parcels, told us the owner books people and dosent tell him (happens all the time) id booked one double and one single with 3 beds on the same floor - I got one double with single beds in the attic and my children the 3 bed a floor below us. "Stayed here for the first time, short stay of one night staff were very friendly, receptionist was lovely and welcoming, room was spacious and clean, comfy bed and all facilities in working order.. would definitely stay again. "

"Bed and bedding comfy with 2 choices of pillows. Good hot water and pressure. Only draw back was the reverse cycle was not controllable due to not having a down button. Temp stays on 25 or you could put it up not down. Had a standing fan fan which we had on all night and heating off. Too cold for windows open. "

She said and I quote "your kids need to wear clothes to breakfast and they will not be allowed tomorrow to have breakfast if they don't wear clothes" to make things clear, my children were wearing onsies and she had an issue with it. "Very handily placed hotel with parking for Leicester town centre or the football or rugby grounds, all around 20 minutes walk. Room was clean and tidy and the breakfast was good value for money."

"Large car park at rear but it was a large pub. Friendly staff and clean room. Food was good and well priced which was shown by how busy it was in the restaurant. The only negative at all for this pub/hotel was that when clearing tables after diners had left the waitress used what cutlery was left on the table to make it up ready for the next diners. How did she know that the previous people didn't sneeze on it or handle it? Not nice in my opinion"

"Good basic room. The bathroom smelled faintly of urine which made me question how thoroughly it’s cleaned. It’s a bit noisy, both from street noise (always seemed to be people yelling outside at all hours), and thin walls. Breakfast was tasty and staff was very pleasant."
