"Upon entering, the room smelt strongly of mould and damp. There was mould all over the bedroom window and the smell also came from the bathroom. The bathroom door latch didn't work, so the door didn't stay closed. The bathroom extractor fan is caked with dust, the bath looks like it hadn't been cleaned, the panel looks incomplete and the grouting is mouldy in the shower. "Great location, 20 min drive Southampton and from New Forest for walks. Lovely old pub, beautifully clean and welcoming. We ate in the garden and enjoyed our Caesar salad and burgers. Accommodation is in separate thatched building to one side of the pub and was quiet. Twin room (2 single beds) was huge with large walk-in shower. Breakfast cooked to order plus cereals, pastries etc on buffet. Coffee brought to our table. Staff all friendly and helpful. Will stay again. Only slight negative was...

"We have stayed at Ennio’s on numerous occasions; each and every time, we are guaranteed a warm and friendly welcome (as I believe all guests get). Condition of property is excellent. To top it off there is a lovely restaurant, with a totally authentic Italian vibe- it can appear a little intimidating, but staff are great. Can’t recommend Ennio’s highly enough."

"What a find! Loved this place from the moment we clapped eyes on it. Positioned right at the entry to restaurant row Oxford Street, the theme is definitely in keeping with the mammoth impact and relevance of the Titanic to Southampton but without any cringey cheesyness that one might fear in a themed setting. Lovely staff are welcoming and helpful, room utterly delightful, and the breakfast was truly THE best we’ve had at any stay in the UK. Thank you for having us (at such short notice!)."

"Loved this hotel. Loved the decor, staff, location and breakfast. What I didn't love was that the pictures posted on Expedia showed a much bigger room than I got including space for a couch. We could barely squeeze by the bed whereas the two other couples we were travelling with did have rooms as advertised."

"we really enjoyed this hotel. They had an a spa that was included that had a steam room, sauna hot tub and a pool. We missed the Michelin star restaurant but the other restaurant on the sixth floor was also very good. Very spacious rooms with good views of the harbor we would go back to this hotel in a heartbeat."
