"Conveniently located for the centre of Haddington, the hotel is comfortable, quiet with good onsite parking. We didn't have an evening meal, although the menu looked great but we were out with friends. We did have breakfast which was good, a selection of cereals, juice, help yourself tea and coffee, full English. The staff were really friendly"

"Possibly the worst place I’ve ever stayed. I didn’t receive the check in instructions, so on arriving had to spend around an hour trying to figure things out. There are no staff at the property and the phone number on their website is incorrect. Room had no bin, no mirror or tea & coffee facilities. This is a basic. No outdoor lighting and slippery broken decking steps is a health and safety hazard. Another guest kept leaving the main door open, and one night I took my dog out in the night to...

"There was a large party downstairs (floor below) on the Saturday night we stayed there. Music from DJ was very loud and pounding/felt in our room until after midnight preventing sleep. The Restaurant was unavailable due to the party. I wouldn’t recommend booking a room on this property when the downstairs facilities are booked in this way."

"We loved our time at Carberry Tower! The estate was stunning and the staff were very helpful. We walked in the gardens and the woods behind the estate - breathtaking! Our dinner and breakfast were delicious. I only wish we had arrived soon enough for the high tea which looked perfect. This will be a favourite memory from our European vacation!
