"Fake tan stains were in the bath from previous guest. Hot water took almost 10mins to come on. Outdoor had a few broken planters and weeds coming through the floor. Kitchen was closed for maintenance so there was no food options until breakfast the next day. I could hear people going in and out their rooms until about 2am and then starting again at 6am. I have stayed previously and was impressed but this time just felt like lack of care was given."

"エディンバラを朝から晩まで楽しみたい方にはおすすめしませんが、観光客で溢れたエディンバラを脱出して郊外で特別な宿泊体験をしたい方にはおすすめです。お城の塔の寝室、大広間、屋根上が貸切です。お姫様というよりは砦の城主の気分を味わえます。車で行く方が多いようですが、私たちは最寄りのWallyford駅（エディンバラから2駅）から歩きました。遊歩道を30-40分ほど歩くと着きます。夕食は済ませるか、調達してから行く必要があります。朝食は部屋に準備してあり、好きなものを選んで食べられます。オーナーご夫妻が気さくでとても良い方々でした。おすすめです。"

"The staff was exceptional. We arrived early before our room was ready and the staff took care of our luggage and directed us to a delightful afternoon tea while we waited. We blew an electrical breaker trying to use an American hairdryer and they promptly got the electricity fixed. They were very flexible with dinner reservations, working around our daytime activities."

"Delightful setting. The hotel is set back from the street with surrounding gardens. Very quiet. Very well run. Staff are true professionals, eager to help with any questions or problems. Pleasant room, although a little small, but spotlessly clean. Reasonable rates. Good value!"

"Das Zimmer und Haus waren sehr sauber, der Hausherr sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist gut für Unternehmungen in Edinburgh, Parkplatz war während unseres Aufenthaltes vorhanden. Minuspunkte gebe ich weil die Matratze fpr mich zu hart war, kein normaler Kopfpolster sondern ein flaches Kissen das .Irgendwann Nackenschmerzen bescherte. Der Boden, ja ich weiß ist alt, aber knirscht bei jedem Schritt, extrem im Badezimmer und sogar in der Dusche. Das Badezimmer ist extrem klein, ich sag mal...

"It was ok. Location was good for transportation on buses or taxis. The room we got was definitely not a “luxury” hotel room or spacious like advertised and did not look like photos. There was no lift, so they should tell people they have to do stairs. The towel warmer didn’t work and there was no plug in for the hairdryer in the bathroom or anywhere near a mirror. It had a bed and breakfast without the breakfast kind of feel, rather than a “boutique hotel,” so seems a little higher priced...

"Amazing overnight stay"

"Lee- Anne, Anjuli and Nisha made the entire four day stay truly memorable. They offered incredible service and were extremely kind and helpful. We loved the location, just out of the way of Old Town but close enough to all the sights by bus (right outside the hotel). We especially enjoyed the dinner menu as it catered perfectly to vegetarians with a great selection of vegan meals as well. Our room had a lovely view and we had a wonderful experience."

"Nel complesso, una esperienza soddisfacente, soprattutto perché si passa tanto tempo fuori ovviamente! Sulla Pulizia si può fare qualcosa di più, ho trovato diversi capelli in bagno. Il mio materasso forse era un po’ vecchio? Era alquanto basso al centro. La distanza tra l’hotel e Victoria Street, per avere un punto di riferimento, e di mezz’ora a buon passo. Però gli autobus sono frequenti e molto comodi."
