"We chose this hotel because of its countryside location and were looking forward to a quiet break outside of Durham City Centre for a weekend trip. "Pleasant stay at the Seaton Lane Inn with a little hiccup of no towels in the room on arrival but was remedied straightaway. Check in was quick and easy although steep stairs to the upper level of the Inn rooms. May be a little difficult for older people to negotiate these.
Had food in the restraunt one night and enjoyed the steak which was cooked as asked and the service was also good from the waiter.
Check out was also quick and easy so a very good stay at a good hotel."

"Pleasantly surprised for the price we payed.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing was to much trouble.
Rooms clean and spacious.
Although no tea and coffee facilities in the room. These were available in the reception area at no extra cost.
I was able to park at the back of the hotel but parking is limited.
Will definitely stay here again and recommend
Cost of an uber was approx £6 to Newcastle town centre."
