"The location was excellent. Quiet area on the canal. Charming building. Room was very clean but super tiny. The room was barely large enough to fit the bed. It was rather claustrophobic. Barely enough room to walk around the sides of the bed. Bathroom was tiny as well. But canal views were lovely."

"Great location in Amsterdam. The host was an excellent communicator, was very welcoming and gave us lots of helpful travel advice for Amsterdam. There are steep stairs, but that is only a problem if you have mobility issues or large luggage. We would definitely stay there again."

"The best stay I had in A’dam on my 8 day trip, hotel is really in the Center of everything so it was a 15-20min walk to everywhere, and just crossing street was the tram stop so really easy to get there and move inside the city, staff was cool and room was really nice. Litte pricey, but its worth it if you want to avoid the time transportation to nice places in A’dam is like you’re just outside hotel and there’s everything."

"This was a fun hotel to stay at. It’s in an old building which means the stairs all the way to the 4th floor were steep! They used a winch outside our canal view window to get our suitcases up to our room. I felt more comfortable walking down the stairs like it was a ladder. Twice during our stay I got downstairs and had to go back up to grab something I had forgotten. Buns of Steele!

"If you have luggage I would avoid this hotel. There are no elevators and the stairs are ridiculous. The person in the room next to us made noise the entire night until 5:30a.m. when we had to leave for the airport. The staff in the morning was not able to process any credit cards causing us to miss our Uber. We then tried to pay cash for the city tax and they could not give us change. There is no parking and our Uber driver from the airport complained all the way there about how difficult it is...

"I was disappointed. The location was great, but the high, steep, narrow stairs, very small room, lack of amenities, and front desk not open 24 hours were not. "Worst hotel Ive ever stay. Dirty like an Indian motel. Bed like a jail, mattres are extremely old, they wanted to charge me extra 300 Euro in addition of what was already paid in full in Cheaptikets, had to call support and cheaptixkets heped me with the issue, but condition of the hotel is extremely bad, however you are n the center of everything. Very sad this place could be a gem but they have it in really bad condition."
