"This is a great place to stay when visiting Colonial Williamsburg. It is next to the visitor center and the busses circulating around the historical area. While we did not use many of the facilities since we are "old folks", there are a lot of things for kids to do on the property- pool, splash pad, ping pong, miniature golf. The hotel is a little dated but that is part of its charm. Some of the electronics could be improved. There is no restaurant at this hotel but the expanded continental...

"Breakfast was ok. Our stay overlapped a large group of students who were very noisy and had no regard for other guests, but that was not the hotel's fault. I feel that the handicapped shower in our room was still a bit dangerous as the floor tiles were extremely slippery. My mother was very worried about her older sister slipping, so we put down plenty of towels outside of the shower. Perhaps they can add a nonslip mat in the bathroom in addition to the safety rails."

"Rooms were very clean and well stocked. Close to all the attractions we were visiting. Quite and well maintained area. View from room were a beautiful stand of trees ( the best part)"

"Check in was good. Exercise room had several broken pieces of equipment. Fire alarm was set off at 545 by staff and no one knew what was going on. No shampoo or body wash in shower."

"The area was ok. Check in and check out was fast and smooth. Rooms could've been cleaner. Bed and pillows uncomfortable, but we just needed to sleep and booked here. Parking was great, basically right at each door. No breakfast, but close to some restaurants. "

"Room was modestly clean at best. My room was not refreshed during my stay. Beds were not made and used towels I placed on the floor remained on the floor. Hotel has outdoor room access. I was unable to sleep due to several other hotel patrons outside my room talking loudly and carrying on between 1:00 AM and 3:00 AM. I was told by staff it was my responsibility to call police to control the situation. I will not stay at another Econo Lodge based on my experience."
