"Overall a very nice hotel in a convenient location. Didn't feel "luxury" to me per see, but it was nice. Very clean. The service was attentive and friendly. My only big complaint is a weird one - they had sliding bathroom doors in our room with no locks and at many points they would spontaneously ope while someone was using the toilet, making for an unnecessarily awkward experience. They should change those doors."

"We were given a room with a balcony and view of the harbour, which was a very nice surprise. One morning, the staff called a taxi for us, which was also very helpful. We were not able to use the $35 Expedia voucher for the restaurant, because we did not stay in Vancouver long enough, and we were not able to pass on the voucher to anyone else to use, so that was a little disappointing."

"Good position close to town centre, Pier and Promenade walk all the way the Stanly park. Rooms are adequate in size, bathroom good with all hygiene goodies supplied. Main problem was the AC. This unit was loud, impossible to set, and vented on the bed. Could not sleep well. Opening the windows also did not work, too much street noise. I like character buildings, this was maybe too dated."

"We were booked into a room immediately above an event floor where a wedding was taking place. Loud music began at 11:30 pm and continued until after 1 am. We were not informed about this at check in or given any option to switch rooms until we phoned reception at 11:30 pm. We were told that the music would stop at midnight but it did not. The reason given was that the hotel security were unable to control the event. Very disappointed in what should have been a pleasant stay in a beautiful...

"I checked in on a Sunday with Daniela and the room was not ready yet so I told her I’m going to hop on hop off bus to tour the city. She said she can sell it also but she overcharged me. On Sundays-Mondays, the extra for the price is supposed to be $2 + $89 as the regular price, instead she charged me plus $4. I even told the hop on. Hop off bus and they said I was overpriced. Upon checking out, the guy on the front desk was not too friendly but okay. The room was very clean and the cleaning...
