"The staff were incredibly professional and helpful. I couldn't fault any one of them but I would mention abby particularly. The service was impeccable and the food was very food. Breakfast was so good and there was a lot of choice. We had a pool room which was perfectly positioned next to the pool which was clean with loungers and seating. I would highly recommend a visit here and we will certainly visit again."

"A lovely friendly welcome from Michael at reception. All the staff were great. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed. The fan was a definite bonus in the hot weather although the room stayed fairly shaded too. There was some traffic noise but it didn't disrupt my sleep at all (room 16). "Such a lovely traditional pub with good accommodation, situated in a pretty rural setting, a short drive away from Pickering. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. My husband and I had an evening meal in the pub which was excellent, as was breakfast the following morning. Pet friendly. Would definitely recommend the Horseshoe Inn."

"I was in room 10 which was very nice but it was next to the kitchen so you could hear the extractor up until about 8 pm also you couldn’t have your widow open during this time. The rest of my stay was perfect, breakfast choice and quality very good ,evening meal very good, staff excellent and ample parking. Outside at the rear was a lovely large garden with plenty of seating for drinks. This was my second visit this year and I would definitely stay here again."

"Amazing property, nice to stay out of Scarborough and have a peaceful village to retreat back too. The accommodation is so well decorated and has the wow factor. Highly recommend. "The location is good and not too far away from city centre. Although the amenities of the room were dated, they were well maintained. Nice dining area for an ordinary English breakfast but I found they don’t serve whole milk! Overall, I have a good experience there and may consider to visit again."

"The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet was huge and tasty. It’s centrally located for walking the city & near restaurants. The only thing to fix is the street which is blocked for construction, so you can only use one end of the street to get there."
