"They position it as a resort-style luxury experience, but it is far from that. It is really just a basic standard hotel stay with small rooms. So the value just isn't there, especially when you're paying a nightly resort fee for a place that has little to no amenities and minimal service. Even if they give you the $20 day credit, it doesn't outweigh just staying somewhere else. It's not in a crowded area with service that just doesn't compare to what else is in the area for the exact same price....

"Overall the location is great and the room's were fairly clean, but I did notice tons of staining on our interior side of the door like it's never been wiped. Looked like someone had spilt something trying to open the door. The bed was comfy, though the duvet felt thin. I think I was most disappointed with the cost. I thought it was a good deal, but after the facility fee AND taxes, it was actually really high for such a small room."

"They offer a discounted price at a nearby parking lot. However, be careful parking directly in front of the hotel to drop off any luggage. We asked the hotel staff at front desk if it was okay to park there for 2 minutes to check in and retrieve the discounted parking and they said it was alright, but we received a $115 parking fine within that time frame it took us to check in. "

"They called me to pay for one night before i go and they say the rest when i arrived but yhey charged me twice and when i called they said it was computer glitch and will give you the money back on 5 business days and i never got my money back and i had to deposit it. "As a lifelong fan of The City that Doesn’t Sleep, the Jewel is my favorite place to stay. Location, location, location. I love Rockefeller Center and being in the heart of Manhattan. We are Broadway fanatics and being able to walk to and from the shows make for delightful evenings. The rooms are “European-size” (small), but I love the setup. It’s a cozy kind of space, reminds me of London.
The bed is super comfortable, bathroom well equipped. The Jewel lives up to its name. "

"Sehr gutes Hotel in top Lage für einen Städtetrip in New York.
Man kann alles super erreichen und es liegt sehr zentral.
Der Service war sehr gut und alle waren äußerst freundlich.
Das Frühstück ist im Diner nebenan. Typisch amerikanisch, sehr fettig und man kann zwischen 3 verschiedenen Menüs wählen.
2 Eier mit Bacon oder Wurst, griechisches Omlett oder Pancakes mit Bacon.
