"Everything was lovely, especially the staff! In the middle of a heatwave, AC would have been nice but that’s Mother Natures fault. Food was excellent, parking was easy and the surroundings were beautiful! I definitely recommend for a taste of old world charm."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The staff in particular were so helpful especially because they located my husband’s wallet he had misplaced. Locals often could be found in the bar/dining area. The only issue was related to having rooms that were dated. We had a disabled room and were concerned that there were no electric power points next to the bed. To recharge mobiles etc was difficult. We would return if we had the opportunity."

"Had a great stay here on a Sunday night. The weather was great so we were able to sit on the terrace. There was both a wedding and a family party during our one night stay which took up a lot of the outdoor space but we did manage to find some seating. Food was good and plenty of options"

"Ok, so this is one of the cheapest hotels in or around Bath. It’s clean and the breakfast is fine for the price. I have seen some reviewers complain about the variety but seriously what do you expect at this price. Our room was ok but very very warm. Location is great and with a bit of investment could be upgraded a few levels but then again so would the price. Uber was approximately £10 to Bath City Centre. "I have stayed here before, but this time I stayed for three nights and will not be staying here again. The kitchen has recently been renovated and is now cordoned off, with a camera in place. However, people are still regularly taking food and drinks from the general fridge that do not belong to them. Checking in was easy although it would have been helpful to have two room keys. The woman on the desk did not seem entirely in the same world as everyone else.
