We found ourselves imagining what it was like living in that era. and appreciated the architecture and interior decorating style. We loved the “Honor System” and felt safe staying there. "So this is a great, old world hotel. Unfortunately, the property is somewhat plagued by green-headed bugs (I think they were green, maybe black) that bite and those bites don't tickle. This makes hanging out by the pool and enjoying the beautiful outdoor grounds less enjoyable. It's still doable, but it can get bad. This isn't the hotel's fault, but it affects the guest experience. The rooms are nice and the vibe is festive. The bar is fun too and it's easy to make fast friends by just hanging...

"We stay here when we are working at our property in Galloway.Staff is always great here.They are in the process of remodeling the rooms not an issue with stay.This is not a 5 star hotel.Being said it is within 15 minutes of AC with plenty to do within 20 minutes in all directions.If you need a place to relax and sleep and shower you can’t go wrong.They need an ICE machine."

"Great food court, gym, and pools. Casino and rooms could use an upgrade. Hard to compete against Ocean since it’s away from the beach and dated. I would come back if the price is right but wouldn’t pay what I paid again for something so far from the beach."
