"The room had good space and was clean and staff were friendly. We were there for four days and housekeeping never came in. Online it says they will come every other day but it turns out you have to request it. It would get a better grade if they at least checked the trash and towels. We did enjoy our stay."

"I will stay here again next time I go to a tigers game and want to visit my sister who lives close by. Very clean and very nice staff. Pool was very nice as well. Breakfast was great! A lot of options."

"My only issue is I am IHG member have been for quite some time now and I have stayed at this hotel multiple times requested late check out through the prompt that it gives you on the TV and even called in the morning for them to tell me late checkout is for IHG members only and they could give me till 1130 mind you I am a member asked the woman to double check. She said of sorry…i can still just do 1130………not to mention had two maids ENTER my room before 11 am wake me up and felt pretty invasive...

"Reservation was cancelled right before we showed up. (Called and let them know we would be late.). No one wrote it down apparently. We were able to rebook a room. Found used condoms in our trash can upon arrival. Not ideal."

"We were not able to get 2 rooms on the same floor and had to wait a half hour for our rooms even though we checked in shortly after 3pm. Rooms were okay and pretty clean. The common areas were awful. Stacks of boxes blocking the hallways, bags of trash left in the hallways. Tables not wiped off in the breakfast area. Staff were polite but definitely had their dirt blinders on."

"Staff acted like they hated their job and we did not get clean towels, and the coffee was not set up each morning at all."

"The carpets need a deep cleaning. It felt like there was winter salt on them. The furniture was stained with a lot of stains over time, especially the foot stool coffee table. The TVs are old technology and did not work well. The kitchen needed a few more utensils to be useful."

"For the price you can't beat this recently remodeled Red Roof. Great location close to M-59. Very quite night and day. Pet friendly and the grounds are cleaner than most expensive hotels. Staff is absolutely amazing."
