"This is a hidden gem / 'Speakeasy'. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff & owners were gracious and accommodating. The cocktail bar was unique and inviting. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The air conditioning worked well and the WiFi was strong. The area is easy to get to from the metro or central train station - very walkable. "It's up a steep flight of stairs, which we had no problem with. Others might. The room was clean, spacious, quiet, and comfortable. There was plenty of food on offer. The host was friendly and helpful. Location near train station proved useful. Longish walk to museums or an easy tram ride. Lots of shopping, bars, and restaurants in the area."

"The hotel itself and the staff were lovely. I was also pleasantly surprised by an upgrade to a junior suite with couch lounge area and more sq footage plus a bottle of prosecco. What a great way to start the vacation. The one minor surprise was upon entering the suite, how it opened directly to the staircase leading down to the room (made me feel like I was in an apartment or sunken living room at home but didn't expect it).
