"Unfortunately for me I came the day before the big fire at the next door resort. I originally booked 2 nights but could only stay 1 because we had to evacuate the building and leave because the fire was really close to us and was becoming a threat. The property however is beautiful and the views are great the rooms however were a lil outdated the bathroom door was all messed up paint peeling off and also the mirror was rusty and outdated, they were no blankets in the room just a plane sheet it...

Der TV war vorhanden, ging aber nicht. "Playa Catalina Hotel really surprised me in the best way. It gives you that Punta Cana vibe but in a more local, peaceful area. The beach is just a 5‑minute walk, and having a pool available 24/7 was perfect. The rooms look like little villas — super cute and cozy. What made the stay unforgettable was the staff. "The area looked beautiful in photos but it really was not feeling safe. We had an overnight before cruise and mainly just stayed in the room. The beach was lovely but we didn’t feel comfortable eating anywhere near this small hotel no elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage up stairs to higher floors. No where close to get a coffee in the morning."
