"We thought it a great, laidback experience. Will be back……..definitely"

"This is one of the most unique and beautiful properties in Lafayette if not Louisiana. The landscaping, the historic architecture, and breakfasts all contributed to a truly amazing stay. I was lucky to stay in the Live Oak cabin with a swing on the porch. Sitting there early in the morning listening to birds or watching the rain from a passing storm was unparalleled. The proprietor Donell Totaro was lovely to talk to about the property and surrounding area. There is no place else to stay...

"Amazing find. Fabulous place."

"Excellent experience! The property was gorgeous and immaculate. Our room which was supposed to be the most haunted was so clean and beautiful. There was a restaurant and bar on site and it was so cozy and welcoming. The staff were all amazing and friendly. The night tour was so much fun and Great tour guide. Went to LA. For 5 days and this was definitely my favorite part of the vacation."

"Fantastic communication and outstanding location for wedding at Boxwood Manor just 2 minutes away. Would stay again!"

"Had a lovely stay. It's in a great location for accessing the main tourist areas. Staff could not have been more helpful. Rooms are a little dated, but perfectly serviceable and it adds to the charm. You are able to come and go as you please with easy but secure access."
