"My 5 stars are sincere. If I'm lucky enough to be able to return to Quito I would stay here again without hesitation. The location is excellent, directly between Plaza Grande and La Basilica, the colonial building is very nicely restored, the room was comfortable, and the staff was extremely kind and attentive. As an independent hotel, it was abundantly clear that they were doing all they could to give guests the best possible experience. Hands-down the best stay we had on our 2 week trip in...

"All the staff were exceptional. Breakfast was limited but okay. I requested a room with a view, but didn’t realize it was 6 floors up—with no elevator! Do I asked for a lower-level room and got one on the third floor. The next night I moved to a lower floor, however, it was very noisy. Good thing I had my ear plugs. The location is fantastic!"
