"This was the absolute perfect end to our anniversary trip. The owners have thought of every little detail for aesthetic, convenience, and comfort.
We were greeted by the kindest and most charming helper, Vincent. He was very helpful and gave us a tour of the property to ensure we knew all the amenities available (sauna, hot tub, chickens, alpacas, fire pit, etc)."

"Pros: close to the beach; breakfast at the corner diner was delicious, as was the ice cream; ice was available; a gathering space w coffee and water; clean linens when requested; keyless front entry. The cleaning staff and restaurant staff were friendly. There is parking nearby in a small lot.
Cons: the room was small; only having one room key was frustrating; the bed too soft & bouncy; threadbare and stained sheets; tiny, tiny shower; visibly dusty ceiling fan had sprayed dust across the walls...

"As it turned out, my wife and I were unable to stay at the Captain's Cottage due to a severe weather front that was going through that part of New Jersey when we were scheduled to stay there. The weather was so severe that New Jersey was under a State of Emergency at the time and severe flooding was anticipated. Although we were unable to stay there, I wanted to say that the owner Bryan, was very communicative and kind during this critical time. He understood our concern and was very...
