"Absolutely beautiful stay! The grounds were so lovely, we saw baby swans on our drive in. Did not stay long enough to try the golf course but the grounds were beyond maintained. We were lucky to get a huge gorgeous room. The room itself was lovely and the bathroom was spectacular. Did not stay long enough to try the restaurants / bar but if I’m local again I will be there again."

"I travel a lot for work, and it was great to find this little hotel off the beaten track. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and the room was comfortable and well laid out, with plenty of space. "Perfect place to stay with a dog. The mattress could do with an upgrade but otherwise very comfortable although there was an overwhelming smell of cleaning products in the accommodation. Food is excellent. "

"We arrived at Thainstone Hotel on Saturday late afternoon . We asked to book our meal for supper as we were going to a show just across from hotel , as the show starts at 7.30 , we needed to book a meal a bit earlier , the receptionist said we can’t serve meals till 7.30 as there is a wedding in process. She said she will ask the chef but he said no . Even a sandwich would b better than nothing , but no . She said she couldn’t even offer a bag of crisps as they hadn’t any of them either..So we...
