"We enjoyed our stay at Alfred's. The apartment was in a great location. The bathroom, while very small, functioned well. The apartment was cheery and bright. It is right across the path from Reykjavik Chips, a burger and basics restaurant that had great shakes. Very handy for a quick bite. The manager was very pleasant. Highly recommend!"

"Room was a box with no ventilation. It was new and clean but bare bones w the cheapest fixtures. We needed a code to get in but that was not sent. Fortunately someone was walking in and helped us, but no apology, just murmurings about how Expedia apps often don’t work. If it wasn’t for the person who unexpectedly came by, we never would have gotten in. I called the Expedia number only to be told that I didn’t have any trips. Super frustrating. "

"This place is NOT it if you are looking for a quiet place to sleep at night. The location is in some random spot in an industrial area. But it is also next to like 2 bars or some sort of gathering spot for locals who were drunk and loud and music was going until almost 3 am. We heard screaming and loud music all night long. "Accommodations were excellent with a perfect location! "I got the extra large room and I noticed a lot of the furniture needed to be replaced. Old, dirty, and broken table, couch, and fridge. Bathroom sink was tiny didn’t have any place to place my toiletries. And most importantly the room needs a portable fan in substitute of an AC. "Stayed at this propoerty with my mom and we loved it! Our flight got in late but checking into the room at 2am was very easy. Some of the most comfortable beds we have stayed on and had great amenities in the room. We also ran into the owner on our way out who was very kind and caring and interested to hear about our stay and very receptive to our small feedback for improvements. Also a great location near the Flybus terminal and the main shopping street."
