"We had a most enjoyable first stay at South Sands having had to change our plans at short notice due to an injury which meant that my husband was unable to fly. As we arrived to check-in Jonathan the food and beverages manager gave us the warmest of welcomes, he presides over an excellent team. The menu was extensive and varied using the delicious fresh local fish and seafood to its full advantage, the lobster bisque amongst other dishes is to be highly recommended. "Sarah & Marc met us as we arrived with a drink & a chat to welcome us. The room with en-suite was beautifully decorated, clean & quiet. The breakfast menu was very varied with fruit, cereals, juice etc to start, and a varied menu with plenty of choice for the main course, beautifully cooked. Would highly recommend. "This place suited my needs perfectly, it had ample parking and was within a 5 minute walk of the harbour. The owner was lovely and the rooms were beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. I also liked that there were sitting rooms downstairs, a large garden and summer house for guests to use. I will definitely be going back. "
