"Excellent location! Just a short walk across to the beach. Very close to an amazing breakfast place across the street. The room was retro and very clean. This is the original Motel 6 and they did a great job with the remodel."

"We stayed in a Corner Premium view room. For a room with high fees, we expected to have a good shower head. Bathroom floor was soapy, once you come out of shower then someone can slip. Our 3 y.o kid slipped once and fortunately kid was good. Apart from above two issues, everything was very good!!"

"We were initially booked at the Ala Mar Motel, when we arrived the check in lobby was locked and there was a sign that instructed you to check in next door at the Villa Rosa Inn. We went over to the Inn at noon and nobody was at the front desk, there was another guest besides us waiting to check in as well. We ended up leaving and coming back closer to 3. The lady that checked us in was very nice and gave us a room at the Villa Rosa Inn with a nice Ocean view. All the staff members we came in...

"This was an amazing, clean property with a nice kitchen. It was only steps away from the beach, wharf and marina. The bed was comfy, the air conditioning worked and there is access to the pool and hot tub across the street. They also had a free wine and cheese happy hour and breakfast."

"Parking was just beside the property and it's for $15 per day. The staff was very friendly but we hardly needed anything, I just wished they provided some water for the coffee maker. The ambience outside the rooms is great, there are sitting areas with hammocks chess area and table tennis, there are bikes you can rent, best of all it is just walking distance to State Road where shops abound."
