"Such a great place! Perfect for us and our littles. They loved walking to the beach, playing at the family pool, tennis, basketball, and we even did one of the evening activities-candy sushi making class! Everything was wonderful. Heads up: it’s right next to a passenger train track, so you’ve got trains running next to the bedroom window pretty much all the time. I think it ends at midnight. Not an issue for us, but I could see it bothering someone else. Overall, it was an excellent vacation...

"I’m really disappointed with our stay at Lakehouse Hotel and Resort.
The issues started with the room itself. There was no way to cover three large windows, so the room was flooded with light as soon as the sun came up around 6:30am. The bathroom door did not close completely and had no lock. The beds and pillows are hard and lumpy.
Parking was great but Safety was also a concern. The resort is not gated, which may be fine, but in our building the exterior door was left propped open all...

"So the pool and hot tub were under construction, but they did offer a transport to another close pool if we wanted. The location was perfect, they staff was super helpful. The restaurant was completely booked and we didn't realize it was reservation only but they offered us carryout. The only complaint I really have is that it was super loud, the walls were like thin or our neighbors were loud! Also the screen on the balcony would get jammed and we hard to open and shut. "Fire alarm went off before 5:30 in the morning, but it was the lack of communication from the reception or any employees that was frustrating and scary. Do we evacuate, do we not? What do we do? Is it a false alarm? They didn’t know and were not communicating properly. Not even an apology later that morning or a discounted rate for the way they handled it. My kid is still scared that an alarm is going to go off while he’s sleeping."
