"A small lovely hotel right downtown. Service is gracious, the best in town. Bacchus, the hotel restaurant, serves delicious food - one of the best hollandaise in Vancouver on their bennies. The hotel feels like a bit of a flash back in time: personal touches, genuinely warm welcomes, and room service rolled in on a cart with a white table cloth. No to go containers here."

"The hotel was fine overall, and the staff was friendly. However, we were disappointed that the property felt very old and dated, which wasn’t obvious when booking. There was also an unpleasant smell in the lobby/common areas when you walked in. The surrounding neighborhood didn’t feel very clean or inviting compared to other areas we’ve stayed in. It worked for our trip, but knowing these things ahead of time would have influenced our decision."
