"The room was clean and spacious enough to move a stroller around. The staff at the Bar and the conceirge we extremely kind, and helpful and provided top tier reccomendations for local entertainment and food options. The pool was unfortunately still closed. Property was clean overall and easily found from the bus and subway stations, within walkable distance to the Apollo and lcoal shops."

"I come to New York around this time annually to go to the Hip Hop Ed Conference. I choose to stay at Opera House instead of a closer hotel because of the beauty of the hotel and how nice the staff is. Zue is usually who I'm greeted by year after year and she is kind and knowledgeable. Give that lady a raise! I'll be back next year!"

"Overall, my stay was pleasant. When I first arrived, it took quite a while for the front desk employee to acknowledge me, as she appeared to be finishing up a phone call and working on something else. However, once she did, she was kind and helpful. The main issue during my stay was the temperature throughout the hotel. My room was extremely warm, and despite setting the thermostat to a cooler temperature, it never seemed to make much of a difference. The hallways and common areas also felt...

"The front desk associates where so nice and helpful my stay was wonderful"

"Rooms was clean. The tv had only basic channels and a remote that was not operating properly. When the staff was notified an employee came to the room with the original remote for the tv and said the cable was working fine despite not having all the channels, being able to access the smart functions and the channels kept buffering and going out of service. Couldn’t watch the Knicks game on regular television because of this."

"If possible, get the 6 person room with the private bathroom. The pods were roomy and comfy, all controls were inside (lights, charging ports, sockets) and you could lock and unlock your pod from your phone. Was close to public transportation and a choice of restaurants all around. Central Park was a stones throw away. I will definitely be staying there again. Wasn't overly expensive, well worth the price paid."

"I guess you don't get much in a city. The first room I was in smelled of tobacco. There no face cloth provided. The elevator was very slow to arrive. I was on the 4th floor. I wound up taking the stairs. Finally the card key stopped working. The master key didn't work either. They gave me a different room. Not much better but it was on the 1st floor! It didn't smell of tobacco. I did get a wash cloth but no top sheet on the bed. It's decor was quite odd. Hard to describe. No amenities...

"I only stayed here for one night. Once I got into the room, I tried to put the deadbolt on the deadbolt does not have anything to connect to so it’s pointless. I went downstairs. He told me all the doors are like that. Then the mattress, oh my goodness, I had two flat sheets on my bed no fitted sheet. The mattress was horrible. Had cigarette burns and I think I saw a bedbug. "This was the worst accommodation experience I have ever had. Per instructions, I informed mgmt that I'd be arriving after regular check-in hours. When I arrived, there was no one at the property. When I called the manager, I was informed that I'd have to meet her at the train station several blocks away to get the keys. "We checked in and stayed about an hour before we decided to check out and lose the $600 we paid for the rooms. Everything smelled like cigarette and pot smoke, there were no windows in the room, there was no security lock on the door. There is no lobby. The internet basically didn't work, and we had no cell service in the room. I had to make calls from the parking garage. It felt very unsafe and unclean."
